The Study: Some findings
Casual Dating is common practice: 15% of people have used casual dating services online and over a third of people using all online dating platforms are doing so for ‘erotic‘ purposes whether it be just flirting or arranging casual dates.

The Study: Methodology
"This multi national study was conducted for C-date by Trend Research, Institut for Market and Communication Research GmbH, Hamburg."
The survey seeks to identify trends in sexual behaviours across 11 European countries and Brasil: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
5,670 people aged between 18 to 50 years old (non C-date's members), responded to an online survey between the 18th August and 1st September 2011.
From these, approximately 500 respondents per country were taken to give a fair representation of views across age, gender (The respondents were 50% female and 50% male) and educational level.
The online survey contained 49 questions. On average, respondents needed 10 to 11 minutes to fill out the complete questionnaire.
